FPM Fiduciary Services
Provide for the future, especially if there are dependents involved.
Reg No. 2015/413595/07
While it is human nature to spend most of one’s time focusing on the here and now, it is also everyone’s responsibility to provide for the future
At FPM, we are justifiably proud of the expertise we have developed in the very important and complex areas of estate planning, wills, trusts and winding up deceased estates.
What we offer
Wills
This includes estate planning, which incorporates the drafting of Wills for clients that are part of our Risk and Wealth offering
FPM’s philosophy with regards to the wealth management process – and therefore the foundation for adding value to our clients – is summarised as follows:
Our role as an independent financial advisor is to obtain detailed information about a client’s present financial situation and their future financial goals and objectives, to analyse this information in a logical and easy-to-understand manner, to develop a strategy that will enable the client to meet his objectives and then implement and monitor that strategy into the future.
A critical tool / element within the wealth management process is the drafting and reviewing of a Last Will and Testament for our existing clients. Having an up-to-date, valid Will is critical within a holistic financial plan and forms the cornerstone of the generational wealth management process.
We encourage our existing clients to take the opportunity to engage with us if a review or drafting of your Will is required.
Winding up of Estates
Where we are the nominated executor on a clients’ Will we assist in the process of winding up the estate.Trusts
Establishment of trusts in line with Holistic Financial Planning with our Risk and Wealth team.Although trusts have been affected by some recent legislative amendments, they are still as useful and as pertinent as ever in the financial planning mix.
For trusts to be as effective and efficient as possible, they need to be properly structured and administered, taking individual and family circumstances into account.
Inter-generational trusts still have a very valuable role to play in safeguarding legacies and transferring wealth from one generation to another.
Our focus is on guiding our clients through the fiduciary maze, ensuring that the best sustainable outcomes are achieved during one’s lifetime and after one’s death.
