Wayne Visser
Managing Director
Wayne started what is now the FPM Group back in 1988 after identifying a need for providing a holistic service to clients needing personal attention and advice. He is responsible for FPM’s risk and wealth management divisions as well as the overall direction of the group. In his spare time, Wayne’s major interests include travel, wine and reading anything that is real – “non fiction.”
Michael Tongs
Director
Michael is an experienced director with 30 years of working history in the financial services industry. He is a Certified Financial Planner with particular skills in portfolio management, risk management and financial planning with a focus on income security and investment purpose. Outside of work, his interests include photography and visiting game reserves.
Andrew Kennedy
Director
An engineer by training, Andrew has been in the insurance industry since 1988 and with FPM since 1999. He is a qualified Certified Financial Planner and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning He is responsible for FPM’s employee benefits and medical aid offerings. He is a big fan of Italian cars of the 1970s and 80s and loves to travel and play golf. He is also involved in counselling families of addicts in treatment.
Rodney Caruana
Director
Rodney has been involved in short term insurance since 1985 and was the managing director of Reece, Campbell & Co before joining FPM in 2011. He has headed up FPM Short Term Insurance Brokers since March 2016. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (London) and an Associate of the Insurance Institute of South Africa. When he’s not working, you might find him riding his Harley Davidson or savouring a glass or two of wine (but not at the same time).
Vaughan Hansen
Director
Vaughan has 38 years’ experience in the insurance industry, mainly in the broking side of the business. He regards client relationships as one of his major strengths. Away from the office, you might find him hiking, cycling or brushing up on his general knowledge/current affairs.
Brian Lazarus
Brian Lazarus is a shareholder of FPM Group Holdings (Pty) Ltd. He retired as an advisor and a representative of the FPM Group on 31 December 2024
Charmaine Beyer
Director
Started her insurance career in 1996 and a managing member at Beyer Insurance Consultants. Then merging with I&DRS Insurance Specialist in 2014. She then Joined FPM 2020 where she is a Director and Shareholder.
Charmaine has extensive experience in Short term commercial and Domestic insurance. Her hobbies are gym, traveling, music festivals and concerts of all genre’s and she previously held provincial colours in Ice Skating.
